Leave a legacy in your will
Leaving a gift in your will is really easy – and will not disadvantage those who are already beneficiaries in your will, and it makes such a difference to someone less fortunate than yourself. It will help future generations for many years to come.
How to leave a gift in your Will:
- Residuary gifts – a share of an estate after all other payments have been made.
- Pecuniary gifts – a specific some of money.
To include WDEF in your will please ask your solicitor to use our charity and address details below to ensure the gift reach us:
“William Davis Education Foundation, Coglan House, Longhope, Gloucestershire, GL17 0NZ; Charity number: 312314.”
Free Wills Month
There is a “Free Wills Month” every March / October. This is a scheme which allows anyone, aged 55 and over, to write or update a simple Will for free. Solicitors all over the UK take part in this campaign. You can keep updated when the next campaign starts on the Free Wills website – rememberacharity.org.uk.
